On April 25 Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Minister of Defence Frank Bakke-Jensen of Norway conducted a visit at the ministry of National Defence. They were met by Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Raimundas Karoblis.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė will meet with Crown Prince Haakon, heir apparent to the throne of Norway, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit on April 24. The Royal couple accompanied by the Minister of Defense of Norway and a high-level business delegation will pay a two-day official visit to Lithuania.

On 24 January, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with the new Ambassador of Norway to Lithuania Karsten Klepsvik and discussed  bilateral relations between Lithuania and Norway, and the strengthening of cooperation on issues of importance for our region’s security.
