Ambassador’s visit to Ski

On December 16, Lithuanian Ambassador to Norway Izolda Bričkovskienė paid a visit to Ski where she was received by Mayor Tuva Moflag and Head of Administration Audun Fiskvik.
During the meeting, Mayor Moflag informed Ambassador Bričkovskienė about ambitious development projects that will significantly increase Ski’s attractiveness to residents and businesses. Living and working conditions of local Lithuanians as well as other relevant issues were also discussed with Ski officials, including possibilities to get Ski municipality’s assistance for Lithuanians in their cultural and educational needs.
Lithuanians living to the east of Oslo have established their own community and a Saturday school.
