The recording the civil act as child’s birth and issuance of the first Lithuanian passport or identity card
To register child's birth in Lithuania and issuing of the first Lithuanian passport for the child, please bring child's birth certificate (Fodselsatest) issued in Norway with Apostille. Apostille can be obtained at Fylkesmannen and translation to Lithuanian, both parent's valid (unexpired) passports, two photos of a child (detailed requirements), and a fee for issuing child's first Lithuanian passport (list of fees).
Everyone over 1 year old must be present. If you want to receive the passport by post, it costs as the registered letter (200-245 NOK, check at the post office).
