Ambassador‘s visit to Trondheim
On March 10-11, Lithuanian Ambassador to Norway Izolda Bričkovskienė paid a visit to Trondheim where she met politicians, representatives of business and science as well as local Lithuanians.
In Trondheim, Ambassador Bričkovskienė was received by its Deputy Mayor Hilde Opoku and Rector of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology Gunnar Bovim. The program of the visit also included meetings at the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia SINTEF and the head office of the SpareBank 1 SMN. Moreover, cooperation between Lithuanian and Norwegian labour inspectorates was discussed at Ambassador’s meeting with the Director of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority Ingrid Finboe Svendsen. A lot of issues of mutual concern were also touched upon with representatives of the Trøndelag Lithuanian Community gathered at the Lithuanian Honorary Consulate in Trondheim.
