“Lithuania on the Menu” – events in Bergen
A series of events devoted to Lithuania took place on September 24-26 in Bergen. The events were organized by the European Movement – Hordaland in cooperation with the Lithuanian Embassy in Oslo, the Lithuanian-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and other partners.
The main event of the series “Lithuania on the Menu” was hosted by the Bergen Chamber of Commerce and Industry on September 25. More than 50 representatives of Norwegian organizations and companies had an opportunity to get acquainted with business opportunities in the Baltic States. Investment climate and business culture in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were introduced by representatives of Norwegian and multinational companies working in the Baltic region. A number of individual meetings were also held on the margins of the event.
Among other things, during the events Bergen’s public was introduced to tourism opportunities in Lithuania. Moreover, a participant of the project “Mission Siberia” has shared her impressions about this unique endeavour undertaken by the Lithuanian youth. The “Lithuania on the Menu” was rounded off with a fair in the centre of Bergen – at the Torgalmenningen.
