On 24 September in Oslo, Mr. Vytautas Pinkus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Norway, presented his credentials to His Majesty King Haakon VIII of Norway. The ceremony marking the presentation of the credentials officially marks the start of Ambassador V. Pinkus’s diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Norway.

During his introductory remarks, the Ambassador emphasised his commitment to further developing bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation, and to fostering closer ties between the institutions, business communities and societies of both countries.

Business ties between the two countries are becoming more active, and interest in trade and investment opportunities is growing.
