The second poll of the Election to the Seimas 2008 took place on 26 October 2008 and the preliminary Election results are as follows (the numbers of Seimas member mandates received by the parties and independent citizens who have nominated themselves as candidates):

• Homeland Union - Lithuanian Christian Democrats - 44 (Multi-member constituency - 18, single-member constituencies - 26);
• Lithuanian Social Democratic party - 26 (Multi-member constituency - 10, single-member constituencies - 16);
• Rising Nation party - 16 (Multi-member constituency - 13, single-member constituencies - 3);
• The Party 'Order and Justice' - 15 (Multi-member constituency - 11, single-member constituencies - 4);
• Liberals Movement of the Republic of Lithuania - 11 (Multi-member constituency - 5, single-member constituencies - 6);
• Coalition of 'Labor party + Youth' - 10 (Multi-member constituency - 8, single-member constituencies - 2);
• Liberal and Centre Union - 8 (Multi-member constituency - 5, single-member constituencies - 3);
• Independent citizens who have nominated themselves - 4;
• Lithuanian Poles' Electoral Action - 3 (Multi-member constituency - 0, single-member constituencies - 3);
• The Union of Lithuanian Peasants and Peoples - 3 (Multi-member constituency - 0, single-member constituencies - 3;
• New Union (Social Liberals) - 1 (Multi-member constituency - 0, single-member constituencies - 1).
