Strengthening Lithuanian-Norwegian defence cooperation

On 25-26 September, 2024 Lithuanian-Norwegian Defence Industry Business Mission visited Kongsberg Gruppen ASA, one of Norway's most advanced defence and aerospace companies. The delegation learned about the latest technologies that shape future defence solutions. Ambassador Jonas Mažeika highlighted the growing potential for international cooperation and technology exchange in the field of defence at their visit to the Embassy of Lithuania in Oslo.

During a seminar on bilateral defence cooperation, Lithuanian and Norwegian experts shared their insights of the operations in Ukraine, discussed Norwegian Armed Forces' long-term plans for 2025-2036, and upcoming procurements in Lithuania. The B2B meetings with key leaders of the Norwegian defence sector, sserved as a platform for meaningful discussions on defence industry trends and future cooperation.
