Visit of the delegation from the Lithuanian Research Council and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport to Norway
On September 16 -18, 2024, a delegation from the Lithuanian Research Council and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport visited key science and innovation institutions, including the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO), the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), the Oslo Science Park, and the SmartForest center as well as participated in meetings with Research Council of Norway (Norges forskningsråd).
At the embassy of Lithuania in Oslo, the delegation members and Ambassador Jonas Mažeika, together with the embassy team, discussed the potential for closer cooperation in science and innovation between Lithuania and Norway and ways to strengthen relations. The visit was an excellent opportunity to develop bilateral ties and share best practices in the field of science and innovation.
